Small scale investigation works in garden, landscaped and yard areas - Hackney Council

Geo-Integrity recently undertook a site investigation and risk assessment in Stoke Newington, London, to satisfy a planning condition for the conversion of a single dwelling to two or more dwellings.  The condition was under a new guidance from Hackney Borough Council, the guidance aims to be pragmatic by focusing on the investigation of a few contaminants (BaP, Lead and Asbestos) that commonly exceed soil screening levels (SSLs) and only requiring clean-up when background concentrations (those that would normally be expected) or SSLs are exceeded.

We require soil testing in our rear garden at 190 Evering Road, E5 8AJ as a condition for our planning application 2017/2960.

Steven Pye the Pollution Control Officer for Hackney Council has advised htt limited soil testing for lead, BaP and asbestos will be sufficient.

Please can you advise of price and your lead in time.

    Thanks
